Content policy

What may go on the channel, and what we will turn down.

Who is watching

The channel plays to anyone who opens the page, at any hour, with no age gate and no way to know who is in front of it. Everything below follows from that.

What is not allowed

  • Anything illegal where we or the viewer are.
  • Impersonating a real person, company or public body.
  • Medical, health or financial claims you cannot back up, and anything presenting a return as certain.
  • Adult content, gambling, weapons, tobacco and vapes.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content degrading a person or group.
  • Anything using someone's likeness, music, footage or trademark without the right to.
  • Content aimed at children, or designed to appeal to them.

Craft

  • Audio has to be mixed at a sane level, and that is on you: nothing on ingest normalises loudness, so a spot mixed hot goes out hot. We reject anything clipped or much louder than the channel around it.
  • No strobing or rapid flashing. Somebody with photosensitive epilepsy has no warning before your spot starts.
  • The destination link has to go to the thing in the spot. Not a redirect chain, not an affiliate wrapper, not a page that asks for something the spot never mentioned.

Pitch decks

If you attach a deck, every claim in it is yours. We do not verify any of it and we do not present it as verified.

Decks are shown to approved investors only, under the confidentiality undertaking they sign.

Comments

The discussion is public. The same rules apply to it, and to you as an advertiser talking under your own spot.

You can report a comment or mute an author from the comment itself.

If we turn something down

We tell you why, in a sentence you can act on, and what you paid is refunded. If it can be fixed, fix it and submit again.

Repeatedly submitting the same rejected spot, or working around a rejection, ends the account.
