Privacy policy

What we hold about you, why, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it.

Who is responsible

IS.TEAM LLC, 8 The Green, Ste A, Dover, DE 19901, United States, is the controller of the personal data described here. Registration number 10536716.

Write to hello@letmeshowyou.live about anything on this page. One person reads that inbox and will answer.

If you only watch

You do not need an account to watch the channel, and we do not ask for one.

Your browser generates a random session identifier and reports in every couple of minutes so the viewer count is real rather than invented. It is stored for the tab you are in, expires about five minutes after the last report, and is not joined to anything else. Closing the tab discards it.

The player records which spot was on screen and for how many seconds. That count is attached to the spot, not to you: there is no viewer identifier on it.

We do not run advertising trackers and we do not build a profile of you.

If you have an account

  • Your name and email address.
  • What you upload: the video, a still, a title, a description, a destination link, and a pitch deck if you attach one.
  • What you bought: the plan, the amount, the invoice number, whether it was paid, and the billing address you enter on Stripe's page, which Stripe holds and shows on the invoice. Not your card number — we never receive it.
  • Counts against your own spots: airings, completions, clicks on the product link, and pitch deck downloads.
  • If you apply for investor access: the firm and website you give us, and which decks you download.
  • Anything you write in a comment, which is public.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • To run the service you asked for — the account, the airing, the invoice. That is performance of a contract.
  • To keep the service standing up: rate limits, bot checks, fraud and abuse. That is our legitimate interest, and it is narrow.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations on records of payment. That is a legal obligation.
  • Where we ask for consent, refusing it costs you that feature and nothing else.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data and we have never sold it. The services below process data on our instructions so the product can work.

  • Google LLC (Firebase) — Accounts and sign-in, the database, uploaded video and images, and the server functions that queue and bill a spot. (United States and Europe (europe-west1))
  • Google LLC (Cloud Transcoder) — Encoding an uploaded file into the formats the channel plays. (United States and Europe)
  • Google LLC (reCAPTCHA Enterprise) — Telling a browser from a script, so the write paths cannot be driven automatically. Reached through Firebase App Check. (United States)
  • Google LLC (Vertex AI) — Suggesting titles, when an advertiser asks for one. Only a few words derived from what they have typed are sent; the video is never sent. (United States)
  • Vercel Inc. — Serving the site itself. (United States and Europe)
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — Delivering video segments from a cache near the viewer, so the channel does not pay to send the same seconds twice. (Global edge network)
  • Stripe, Inc. — Taking payment and issuing the invoice. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach this site. (Delaware, United States)
  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — Sending sign-in links and the notices an account asks for. (United States)
  • Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — Recording errors so we can see when something breaks. It receives the technical detail of a fault; we do not send it IP addresses or account identifiers. (United States)

Where it goes

We are a company in Delaware, United States and our services run mainly in the United States and Europe. If you are in the EEA or the UK, your data is transferred outside it.

Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or on an adequacy decision where one covers the recipient.

How long we keep it

  • Account details: until you delete the account.
  • Uploads that never aired: deleted with the spot.
  • Spots that aired: kept for at least a month after their last airing, and as a rule far longer, because they went out publicly and the channel replays them. We take one down when you delete it, or, rarely, when we have to. Deleting the spot removes it from the archive and takes its page down.
  • Records of payment: as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is longer than the account.
  • Raw analytics events: folded into totals and swept within thirty days.
  • Comments: kept until you or we delete them.
  • An investor application: kept while the account is, and deleted with it.

What you can ask for

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for it in a portable form.

Write to hello@letmeshowyou.live. We answer within thirty days. There is no charge.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. We would rather you told us first.

Children

The service is not for children. You need to be at least 16, or 13 with the consent of a parent or guardian where local law allows it, to hold an account.

The channel plays to anyone who opens the page, with no age gate, which is one of the reasons the content policy is strict about what may air.

Security

Access to the database is governed by rules that are tested on every deploy. Secrets are held in a managed secret store and never in the codebase. Payment card data never reaches our servers.

No system is perfect. If we discover a breach affecting you, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law requires.
