Investor confidentiality undertaking
The terms on which you may read a pitch deck.
What you are agreeing to
Pitch decks on LMSY are shared with approved investors only. They are not public, and the advertiser has not agreed to make them public.
Treat every deck as confidential information of the advertiser.
What you may do
- Read it.
- Share it inside your own firm with people who need to see it, on these same terms.
- Use it to decide whether to get in touch.
What you may not do
- Forward it outside your firm.
- Publish it, or post extracts from it.
- Feed it to a service that trains on what it is given.
- Use it to compete with the advertiser, or to help someone else do so.
What the advertiser is told
They are told how many investors downloaded their deck. They are not told which. If you want them to know it was you, contact them.
Downloads are logged against your account.
How long it lasts
This undertaking survives your account and applies to decks you have already downloaded. Confidentiality does not lapse because access did.
Abuse ends your investor access, and we tell the advertisers affected.
